Vancity Original® returns with a collection dedicated to Vancouver's historic Chinatown.

Vancity Original® HQ is located in the heart of Chinatown and we felt it was only right to bring back a collection that pays tribute to the neighbourhood we call home. This time, we're re-introducing a few throwbacks in new colorways along with some designs fresh for the new year. Highlights of the collection include two major collaborations: We teamed up with Hon's Wun-Tun House in Chinatown, a first that only Vancity Original® can claim, and applied their iconic logo to a 5-panel snapback and t-shirt. Hon's remains a staple in the community, delivering classic Chinese cuisine and their world famous Potstickers for over 35 years. In addition to that, we also linked up with our good friend FreekyP of N8NE (@freeky.p) for the Rumble In Vancity tee. This piece is a tongue-in-cheek nod to the 90's classic Jackie Chan movie, which was set in the Bronx, NY but was filmed right here in Vancouver. We hope to honour the culture and spirit of Vancouver's Chinatown through this collection.

The collection consists of custom designed graphics tees, fleece hoodies, long-sleeve raglan tees, embroidered dad hats and 5-panel hats.

The Vancity Original® for Chinatown 2016 collection will be available exclusively online at VancityOriginal.com and in store at Dipt on Saturday, March 26th.

Join us at the Vancity Original® for Chinatown release party on Friday, March 25th from 7-10pm at Hon's Wun-Tun House in Chinatown 268 Keefer Street. This will be your exclusive opportunity to check out the collection ahead of the release. Sailor Gerry supplies the music all night.
